My wife got these because the other ones she had she actually wore out after 8 years. A happy wife is a happy life, right?I wear an 11 so that's part of this. they are BIG. They make my feet looks like boats. Cant get a smaller size lengthwise but they are wider than the typical medium.. quality is perfect. I think if you have feet that are smaller it would look better. I kept them but just for bikingI liked the quality of the shoe very much but I did not like the fact that it was never delivered to my house. It was delivered to a neighbor’s house. I was very lucky that this was a nice neighbor. Other neighbors have kept some of our orders.Unfortunately I LOVE these sneakers but they run big. I am normally an 8. When I went to exchange them Amazon would not match the price for the smaller size! They wanted $40 more! This is infuriating. The company, Backcountry said they would match the price through them directly. I used an Amazon giftcard so I was out of luck doing that. First time I am really disappointed with Amazon.I love these shoes. I have been searching for a pair of slip on sneakers for a long time and these are exactly what I was looking for. Based on other reviews, I did order a half size smaller than my normal frye size and they are perfect. Some of the reviews said that these were narrow and I agree in a good way. I feel like most sneakers make my feet look bigger, these hug the foot perfectly. The tan color is beautiful, it is a perfect caramel color. Even the box they come in is nice. This is my best purchase in a long time!I was worried when so many other posters stated that these run big. I usually wear a 9.5 and I purchased a 9.5 and it fits perfectly. If I had purchased as size 9 I would have had problems. I have normal sized feet (meaning I never need to buy wide or never need to buy narrow). I wore them for the first time and a strange woman came and complimented them. Asked where I got them and even bent down to touch them to confirm the quality. They are a lovely, comfortable pair of shoes. I want them in another color :)shoes were great, loved the leather ..as always Frye quality. The only thing is that I bought half a size smaller than what I normally use (Im an 8) from reading the reviews and had to sent it back for an 8...the length was good but the 7 1/2 was too tight on the sides, impossible to use with no show socks.These shoes are fab and the leather is so soft! They are lined in leather as well!I haven't worn these around much as I'm waiting for my old pair to wear out. They fit nice and look nice and I love everything Frye makes.In love with these sneakers - so nice!
